Any: Negative statements

A lot of or lots of: Count and Non-count nouns

•  He has a lot of aftershave options on the bathroom shelf.

•  He has lots of combs on his dresser.


Many - Count nouns. 

• I have many nail clippers in different sizes.

• She owns many brushes for her hair.


Much: Non-count nouns. Negative sentences. 

• She doesn't have much aftershave in her grooming kit.

• He doesn't have much brush variety in his collection.


Any. Negative sentences 

• She doesn't have any nail files in her bag.

• I don't have any sunscreen in my backpack.
